Featuring an 18" direct radiating driver powered by a 3600W Class D amplifier, the KS118 delivers high sound pressure levels with dynamic and musical sound reproduction of very low frequencies. Highly transportable, the rugged premium birch enclosure features comfortable handles and four low noise casters. An M20 threaded pole receptacle accepts a 35 mm pole for easy vertical deployment with full- range loudspeakers (SP-26 loudspeaker pole not included). To avoid excessive bass energy on stage, and minimize bass radiation in unwanted areas (in-door or out-door), two or more KS118 subwoofers can be combined to create a cardioid radiation pattern providing up to 15 dB of front/back rejection. One DSP setting gives you effective cardioid results in three different configurations without external processing.
