A member of the Ktribe family of products, this inspiring table light provides diffused light through a transparent diffuser that gracefully moves the eye upward. The base, rod, an d diffuser support are die-cast, polished Zamak alloy. It features polished aluminum tubular and an injection-molded, matte black PA (nylon) base cover. The opal inner diffuser is injection-molded PC (polycarbonate). The outer diffuser is transparent or fumèe PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate). Inspiration behind the design: Designer Philippe Starck is known for an ability to create objects that "demand the most from the least," and the Ktribe family of products is no exception to that rule.
