The beauty of rattan is not only in its natural colour, feel and looks, it is also in its characteristics. It grows for instance, in otherwise barren swamp areas and at an alarming rate of about 40 meters every year. We kept it uncoloured, and therefore not only at its prettiest but also at its environmental friendliest. We choose to work with the slightly thicker Kubu rattan for more style. Our Mirror Kubu is handwoven from rattan. Unlike bamboo, rattan stems are solid and therefore easy to bend. Mirror Kubu’s randomly shaped frame gives this mirror its nonchalant look while the Kubu rattan itself adds class. Show more
