Scientific Name: Pangio kuhlii Kuhli Loaches (Pangio kuhlii) are slender, eel-like bottom-dwelling fish known for their distinctive brown and black banded pattern. They are peacefu l and shy fish that spend much of their time hiding among plants, driftwood, or substrate. These loaches do best in groups and prefer aquariums with soft sand or fine substrate where they can burrow. They are active mostly at night and thrive in well-planted community tanks with plenty of hiding spots.
