Peter Kulalu Alomateki was born and raised in Isiolo County, where he has lived his entire life. In 1956, he began his career in public service as a police officer, a role he held with pride and unwavering commitment. In the course of his work, Peter sustained a severe injury after falling off a camel. The incident had long-term effects on his health. For many years, one of his veins failed to transport blood properly, and medical assessments later revealed that one of his legs was shorter than the other. Following this discovery, Peter underwent surgery on his back, a major operation that required a recovery period of nine months.By this time, he had already served for twenty years. His health challenges made it impossible for him to continue working, leading to his early retirement. Life after retirement was not easy. With limited means and declining health, Peter remained at home in Isiolo, facing each day with quiet strength and faith.A turning point came when his local area chief introduced him to Mama Ibado Charity.
