The base spirit comes from organic grain, which is distilled seven times to strip away impurities while preserving a subtle grain sweetness. After distillation, the vodka undergoes four rounds of filtration and is then blended with purified spring water before a distinctive final step: a six-month resting period prior to bottling. This extended maturation — unusual for vodka — allows the spirit to marry fully with the water, maximizing softness and purity in the finished product.Tasting NotesAroma: The nose opens with delicate lemon zest and green apple, layered over subtle notes of cream of wheat and rice cracker. A faint sea-breeze minerality adds freshness beneath the fruit.Taste: Entry is round and clean with a gentle sweetness. The mid-palate expands into citrus, green herbs, and soft orchard fruit. The body sits in the light-to-medium range — dry yet fruity — with a silky texture that reflects the six-month resting period.Finish: The finish is brisk and weightless, led by Szechuan peppercorn spice and a thread of nougat. Lemon lingers at the edges, trailing off cleanly without heat. How to Drink Kurant 1852 CrystalServed chilled and neat, this vodka rewards slow sipping — the resting period gives it a rounded, almost creamy mouthfeel that shines without mixers.
