Made from handspun Tibetan wool, the construction of Semis is time consuming, using the fine – yet remarkably strong – Tibetan knotting technique. The intentional irregularity of t he cut edges creates a beautiful random surface with a handmade touch. For the designers, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, it is the shape of the dots, the trimming, and the fact that a number of different weavers will create each rug – that gives every Semis rug a special, personal touch. PRODUCT INFORMATION Our standard sizes are 180x240cm and 200x300cm but the Kvadrat rugs can be made in custom sizes. Feel free to get in touch to get a quote.
