A scene from "Choju-giga", an ink painting, is embroidered on a soft stand color shirt. The backside of the fabric is brushed, giving it the warmth of a soft flannel shirt. "Choju-giga", ink painting, is said to be the oldest "manga" cartoon in Japan. It is a 4 volume painting scroll of, personified animals such as frogs, foxes, monkeys, cats, etc.. One of the most famous scenes depicts a hare and a frog sumo wrestling. The works are said to be from the 12th-13th centuries, but details are unknown.
