By Knitting For Breakfast Kyma means "wave" in Greek, and it’s the sea and the movement of the waves that inspired the shapes and colors of this tee. To evoke the wave-like pattern, we used a slightly raised two-tone cable stitch, followed by a simple jacquard design. A small cable motif is also incorporated into the body. Kyma is a modern, youthful design with vibrant color combinations and playful stitching. This tee is worked in the round from the top down, with gradual increases in the yoke until reaching the sleeves, which are placed on hold on a thread to be picked up and finished later. This method results in a seamless construction.
