Found in coastal waters of Japan, this distinctive sea slug grows to about 1–3 cm. Its bright orange body features horn-like appendages tipped in black, and its playful arm-waving motion has earned it the nickname “Pikachu.” With its small, compact form, it moves lightly along reefs and coastal surfaces. It feeds mainly on bryozoans, and is commonly found along coasts south of Honshu.
