Golden Eye Snapper "Kin-medai" has vivid red color and usually found at deep sea around 400 and 600 metres. Common size is about 40 cm they have huge eyes that are glowing with gol d color. Best season is winter. They are highly valued as sashimi because of unique texture that is not too soft or too crunchy.
