Description Working Notes Available in 100 grams or 250 grams bundles.An opaque blue rod. All rods are 30cm in length and 4-6mm diameter. The 104COE unless specified is compatible with Effetre or Vetrofond Rods. Pictures are curtsey of Reichenbach and are overexposed to help see the colour hues. A richly saturated medium turquoise, very soft and quick to move in the flame. Stays tacky longer, so cool well before kiln to avoid sticking. Best for surface work and silver reactions — not ideal for fine sculpting. Reduces to a brick red patina with an iridescent sheen (rare for turquoise). Reacts beautifully: black lines on ivory, blue veining with Opal Yellow, and strong separation with Copper Green. Silver turns yellow and can give shifting colours when reduced and encased.
