L3Harris Unfilmed Technology L3Harris Unfilmed image intensifiers are designed to deliver strong performance when available light becomes extremely limited. Removing the traditional ion barrier film allows more electrons to reach the microchannel plate, contributing to the low-light performance for which L3Harris Unfilmed tubes are known. MX-11769 Manual Gain The L3Harris MX-11769 format incorporates a variable-gain power supply, allowing compatible night vision systems to provide manual brightness control. When installed in a compatible manual-gain housing, the user can adjust image brightness to better suit changing ambient-light conditions and personal preference. Available Performance Levels L3Harris image intensifier availability varies, but QDEF commonly offers tubes across several performance ranges: 1800–2200 FOM 2200–2400 FOM 2400+ FOM FOM should not be considered by itself.
