La Comarcal is a boutique wine project created by rising-winemaker, Javi Revert and Victor Marqués. Meaning “the District”, the project was founded in 2017 in the mountainous villa ge of Venta del Moro. The aspirations of Javi and Victor was to create youthful wines made from endemic Valencian grape varieties harvested from high elevation sites. Good friends, they met each other while working together for ten years at the influential Valencian winery, Celler del Roure.Delmoro Blanco comes from vineyards near the village of Venta del Moro, a blend of young and old vines from the indigenous Merseguera and old-vine Chardonnay.
