La llamada showcases two farmers in the Andes mountain range executing the ancient practice of transhumance, in this case during the summertime. One farmer calls the llamas, who ca n be found hiding in different rocky surfaces, at the same time observed by the shining sun and clouds surrounding them. The other farmer takes care of a baby who didn't want to accompany the rest of them. Strong bonds can't be broken even by the inclemency of the weather. This piece was hand-painted with black iron oxide on a hand-built vessel, made with speckled stoneware and single-fired to 1240°C. Show more
