The wine undergoes secondary fermentation via the Charmat method in large stainless steel tanks, a process that preserves bright, fruit-forward aromatics and produces lighter, frothier bubbles than the traditional method used in Champagne. La Marca has grown into the top-selling Prosecco brand in the United States, moving over 1.5 million cases annually — a scale that speaks to consistent quality at an accessible price point.Tasting NotesAroma: The nose opens with tart green apple and ripe lemon zest, followed by a layer of honeysuckle blossom. A subtle mineral thread ties the fruit and floral elements together.Taste: On the palate, juicy white peach and pear arrive first, with crisp citrus running through the mid-palate. The mousse is light and frothy, carrying a gentle touch of sweetness balanced by bright acidity.Finish: The finish is clean and refreshing, with lingering notes of green apple and a faint mineral snap. It fades quickly, encouraging the next sip.How to Drink La Marca ProseccoThis split is designed for immediate, fuss-free enjoyment — well-chilled, straight from the bottle or poured into a flute. Its compact size also makes it an ideal single-serving base for sparkling cocktails. Aperol Spritz: The bright citrus profile of La Marca cuts through Aperol's bittersweet orange, creating a textbook Spritz. Bellini: White peach puree amplifies the stone fruit notes already present in the wine, resulting in a classic Venetian pairing. French 75: La Marca's lively acidity and light body stand up to gin and lemon juice without overwhelming the cocktail's balance.
