La Mariota 'La Nereda' 2022 is a distinctive white wine from the Roussillon region in southern France, crafted by Argentine duo Cecilia Diaz and Guillermo Campos. The wine is a blend of 50% Muscat à Petits Grains and 50% Roussanne, sourced from vines aged 70 and 20 years respectively, grown on clay and limestone soils at an altitude of 180 meters. The grapes undergo direct press with whole clusters and are fermented using natural yeasts. Aging comprises 24 months—12 months in 400L barrels followed by 12 months in tank—and an additional 6 months in bottle. The wine is unfiltered, unfined, and contains a total sulfur dioxide level of 30 mg/L. Only 80 cases were produced, and it has an aging potential of 5 years. On the nose, 'La Nereda' presents aromas of candied orange peel, wild honey, and spring flowers .
