Overview This elegant flow control kit from La Pavoni is the perfect upgrade for any E61 La Pavoni espresso machine. The clean aesthetics of the gauge and low profile adjustment paddle make for a understated look that blends in the with lines of the E61 grouphead. Usage Once installed, the flow control kit will allow for manipulation of the water flow and rate of flow through the grouphead. Please note that flow control is not pressure profiling and even if left in a low flow position, will eventually equalize at the set pressure of the pump. The flow control kit is designed to allow for true pre-infusion by restricting the water flow during the first phase of extraction in order to fully saturate the grounds before opening to full flow. This allows for the use of finer ground espresso and longer contact time to yield a richer and more developed shot without channeling or tunneling.
