LA PERDÍCION is freely inspired by the murders of the American serial killer Robert Hansen, known in the media as the “Butcher Baker”, but with a controversial LGBTQ un-friendly twist. Selected at The Houston International LGBTQ Film Festival and the Hallucinea Film Festival, the movie was screened in the Amsterdam University in a Roundtable about ‘Staging Violence and Queer Sexualities: Politics of the Explicitly (In)Correct in the Media’ Despite everything, some festivals have refused to screen the films for fear of offending the public and having problems with censorshipThe 2 films were part of a trilogy that currently will not be finished by the director's choice. Both DVDs will contain an exclusive mini-documentary on the third film, in the rich extras section.
