La Posta is a project by Laura Catena focused on showcasing Mendoza’s sub-regions through single-grower wines, with each label highlighting the farmer behind it. Inspired by “the t avern” where growers share knowledge, the wines reflect collaboration between Catena and winemaker Luis Reginato, and are certified sustainable. This Malbec comes from Angel Paulucci’s vineyard in Ugarteche (Luján de Cuyo), planted in 1960. Made from 100% Malbec, it combines oak (French barrels) and stainless steel ageing. The wine shows red cherry, raspberry, violet, and light oak notes, with a fresh, juicy palate and soft spice. It received 91 points from Joaquín Hidalgo, described as plush, approachable, and fruit-driven. Show more
