Control is pleased to present the first in a new workshops series covering the basics of synthesis, acoustics, and voltage control.La Synthèse Humaine has been designed to give the musician, sound designer, hobbyist, and enthusiast a basic working understanding of modular synthesizers - how they work, how modules interact, and how to create new sounds with them. Upon leaving this course we hope to give you the basic intuition you need to create any sound you can imagine (and, most importantly, the ones you can’t) with only a couple of modules.The workshop series is split into three sections and will take place on Tuesday nights over the course of three classes:I - Waveforms and Oscillations (Feb. 12th)II - Processing and Modulation (Feb. 26th)III - ...All Under Voltage Control (March 12th)In this second session of the workshop - PROCESSING AND MODULATION - we will discuss the basic signal processors: voltage controlled amplifiers and voltage controlled filters. Basic filter structures and all manner of timbral applications will be covered. Further, we will cover the concepts of amplitude (balanced) modulation, frequency modulation, and wavefolding.Adding this to your cart reserves your seat in Workshop #2 "Modulation And Processing."
