La Trempette 2020 is a unique Champagne crafted from a meticulous blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier, 20% Pinot Gris, and 20% Chardonnay. 2020 is the second vintage from Au rélien, from limestone and chalk-rich soils that lend tension, minerality, and purity. The name of the cuvée refers to the infusion of the grapes in Georgian amphorae, which adds complexity and aromatic tension. La Trempette is made without added sulfites and is a non-dosage Brut Nature Champagne. The palate is lively, with unique aromas of red berries, dry fruits, and a touch of spices, ending with a light bitterness that structures and balances yet is clean and delicate, providing an unprecedented Champagne experience.
