LaBarge is a 2 ply sport weight yarn that is made from wool from the Lincoln breed of sheep. It is blended 50/50 with rambouillet to give it some bounce.This wool was sourced from the Bar Quarter Circle Ranch in the valley of Gallatin, Montana.Lincoln is a long staple fiber and can grow 12" per year. While a typical wool fleece will weigh 10 lbs. a Lincoln fleece can weigh 16 lbs.We named this yarn "LaBarge" after a town in western Wyoming right on the bank of the Green River. Specs 2 Ply Sport Weight 2 oz. Approx. 200 yds Natural Colors: Oatmeal, Silver, and Charcoal Care Guide Hand wash by soaking in lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Let the fabric soak for 15 min, and gently squeeze out excess moisture. Roll fabric between clean dry towels to remove moisture. Lay flat and shape to air dry.
