n 1965, my Uncle Percy admitted to the murder of a journalist called Randall Tomlinson by pushing him in front of a train. After Percy was freed from prison, I developed a close bo nd with him, and it became increasingly apparent to me that he might have admitted to a crime he didn’t commit.
