The lace is created and attached in the hoop by stitching on water soluble stabilizer, which is rinsed away at the end for the freestanding effect. The lace is specially digitized to not unravel, for an effortless doily effect that is delicate but sturdy. Once you stitch your lace ends, simply use your machine to hem the long edges of the fabric, and your runner is complete!
