Description and Techniques Create a set of these gloves by whip-stitching lacet braid along the edges, bringing the braid to meet itself. These gloves were inspired by a pair found in the Martha Edlin Casket at the V&A. Many caskets from the period contained small projects like this, likely made by the girls as beginner pieces or exercises in technique.
