Dielectric grease is a water-repellent grease used to seal electrical connections and wiring from salt, dirt & corrosion. It also helps to prevent voltage leakage around electrical connections. Some uses include (but are not limited to): Corrosion prevention on electrical connectors Lubricant for rubber, ceramic and plastic-with a high temperature resistance (e.g. O-rings, gaskets and seals). Examples include use on spark plug boots to prevent fusing.
