Terry Widner of Spoontaneous carved this entire piece from a single plank of Sapele wood. The handle climbs a sinuous S-curve, its ladder-back rungs carved open all the way up to t he tip. At the base, a smooth, deep bowl rests on two spiral-turned wheels that let it stand upright on a surface or hang flat against a wall. Functional as a serving spoon, sculptural enough to live on its own. What it holds, and where, is up to whoever brings it home. Show more
