Today’s watercolour landscape subject was suggested by one of our members, Christine, who requested a tutorial on Ladybower reservoir in the Peak District, in Derbyshire. Despite b eing a man-made lake, I think it sits beautifully in the varied surrounding landscape and presents us with an excellent composition. The view I have chosen does make for quite a busy scene, with lots of challenges along the way, like the distant meadows and woodlands, and the reflections in the water.
