The aromas that waft from the glass with deep, dark berries take center stage. Notes of black tea, and dark chocolate dance in harmony, creating a symphony of scents that captivate the senses, this is a great example of structure and balance. Located opposite Pétrus, the family-owned estate totals only 11 acres. Everything is done by hand; the vineyards have never seen chemicals or pesticides and plowing was done with an ox since 1979. All work is done by gravity and the average production is only 1,000 cases. The final wine is aged 18 months in barrique (50% new). Show more
