Lake Mapourika - New Zealand- My first morning in New Zealand where I had a chance to shoot sunrise. Being on the west side of the South Island meant there wasn’t going to be much colour considering there weren’t any clouds in the sky and a huge glacier to my left. I quickly googled mapped where I was and noticed a lake up the road and thought this was my best bet for a nice photo. Luckily for me there was a jetty heading out towards the lake. Not a soul in sight, just me, my camera and the birds chirping. Show more
