In 2024 when our region was devastated by hurricane Helene, Lake Lure was one of the areas that received the most heartbreaking damage. An although there was damage and loss beyond what we could even imagine, somehow hope rose all around as people came from near and far to help their neighbors and begin the rebuilding process. It was an absolute honor to capture the beauty of such an iconic location of western North Carolina. It holds memories for so many, and I hope someday it is restored to its original beauty. “Lake Lure” is part of the Sea to Mountains collection.
