Lamana is a young yarn company from Germany that works with Peruvian and Italian mills. Their yarns are made from the highest quality fibres and the colour selection is extensive. Lamana uses a special carding process that they call SUPERLIGHT to create a yarn that is as light and airy as a woolen spun yarn, but as soft and smooth as a worsted spun yarn. You get: great yardage (about double what you'd expect by weight) great stitch definition great drape very soft, smooth yarn very light, airy garments pill resistance Use single-stranded for finer garments, and hold two strands together for sweaters and coats.
