In Arabic, Lamar means Liquid Gold, a substance that was sought after for centuries by alchemists as they believed it to be the Elixir of Life, a legendary potion promising immortality. While eternity may be beyond our reach, we can choose to embrace the liberating joy of living in the exhilarating splendour of the present moment. The most precious treasures of all, have always been within our grasp. Created by world renowned perfumer, Mark Buxton, Lamar opens with a delectable combination of red berries, Apple, Cardamom, Coriander and Pineapple, which is celebrated in many cultures for representing friendship and prosperity. The heart notes appear with a sublime blend of Jasmine Sambac, Turkish rose, Bulgarian rose and Magnolia, which is cherished as a symbol of good luck and stability. As the base notes unfold, we are greeted with a deliciously warm concoction of Vanilla, Musk, Amber, Cashmere wood, and Cedar wood, which symbolises endurance, protection and purification. “The strong vibrating woody base is a mixture of amber, cashmere and cedar wood, rounded off with musk, vanilla and moss.
