Lamprologus Brevis The Neolamprologus brevis, commonly called the Lamprologus Brevis, is a small shell-dwelling cichlid native to Lake Tanganyika in Africa. These fascinating fish live inside empty snail shells, using them as protection and breeding sites. Lamprologus Brevis are known for their interesting behavior and are popular in Tanganyika shell-dweller aquariums. Unlike many African cichlids, they stay small and can be kept in smaller tanks when provided with enough shells and territory.
