Item Name: Lampwork Beads, Bracelets & Marbles SKU: DVD127 Description: Lampwork Beads, Bracelets & Marbles is a two DVD instructional set by Lewis Wilson covering advanced lampwor king techniques for making beads, bracelets, and marbles. The set is approximately 4 hours long and is presented as Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. It focuses on advanced beadmaking methods and materials including latticinio, pulled goldstone stringer, Moretti dichroic, Phoenician face beads, and amphora bottles. The instruction demonstrates work on six different torches and also discusses new tools and books, making it a strong technique-builder for lampworkers who want to expand beyond beginner forms and into more complex construction and surface effects. How it is used: Watch and follow along at the torch to practice advanced beadmaking techniques such as latticino work and pulled goldstone stringer. Use the demonstrations to refine heat control and assembly timing when building more complex bead and vessel forms such as amphora bottles. Apply the project methods to expand into bracelet and marble construction with more deliberate shaping and finishing steps. Compare flame characteristics across the six torches shown to better match torch choice to the scale and style of work you do. Use the tool and book discussions as a guide for selecting equipment and references that support more advanced flameworking. Show more
