These precipitation-hardened stainless steel hooks boast exceptional strength and hardness (which in turn controls sharpness) akin to carbon steel hooks, while simultaneously offering superior corrosion resistance without the need for coatings that can (and do) wear, compromising the material underneath. Welded eye for additional strength and to prevent split ring fouling, hand-sharpened and can be re-sharpened if needed. These are the hooks that we fish day-in and day-out and are our preference. After receiving multiple inquiries about sourcing these hooks we decided to make them available on their own for those that would like to rig other lures with them or acquire spares, should they be needed. We currently include the 3/0 size in our Standard Duty Rigging and the 7/0 in our Big Game rigging, but also recommend the 5/0 size for this style as well.
