Superb quality 15 carat coronated rock crystal pendant reverse carved with the initials CML. 2inches by 1.2 inches.Immaculate. The CML likely stands for Clanmaurice Marquess of Lan sdowne and dates to 1863 the year he became Marquess. Henry Charles Keith Petty-Fitzmaurice, 5th Marquess of Lansdowne, (14 January 1845 – 3 June 1927) was a British statesman who served as Governor General of Canada, Viceroy of India, Secretary of State for War, and Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs. In 1917, during the First World War, he wrote the "Lansdowne Letter" advocating, in vain, a compromise peace. Show more
