Released in 2016 as part of the Islay distillery's core range, Laphroaig Lore was created by distillery manager John Campbell in honour of the passing of skill and tradition throug h word of mouth through generations to continue Laphroaig's legacy. Produced from single malts aged from 7 to 21 years old, matured in a combination of quarter casks, sherry casks and refilled peated casks. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at 48%. (Bottle size 70cl) Nose: Pungent peat smoke and seaside minerals with a hint of ash and chocolate. Palate: Lively with hints of bitter chocolate, ash and a spicy chilli bite. Finish: Short, dry finish with a lingering sweet aftertaste. Show more
