What Makes This Piece Stone: lapis lazuli chips Build: wire-wrapped trunk and branches Sizes: small, medium and large About Lapis Lazuli Sacred Crystals calls lapis the Stone of Pharaohs and Kings. In crystal tradition it is linked with the Third Eye chakra and is a stone of truth, inner vision and wisdom. Lapis is a rock rather than a single mineral: deep blue lazurite with white calcite and gold flecks of pyrite. It has been mined in Badakhshan, Afghanistan, for more than 6,000 years, and ground lapis was once ultramarine, the costliest blue pigment in the world. About the Tree of Life The Tree of Life appears in many cultures, from Norse and Celtic lore to Jewish and Buddhist art. It stands for growth, strength and the connection of all living things: roots in the earth, branches toward the sky. A Note on Your Selection Every tree is shaped by hand and every stone is natural, so the colour of the lapis lazuli and the shape of the branches vary a little from the photo. Pairs Well With Lapis Lazuli Round Bead Bracelet - Veil Lifter, Lapis Lazuli Comfort Stone, Rose Quartz Crystal Gem Tree.
