The sphinx with its body of a lion, wings of an eagle, and head of a human, is an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection and guardianship. This sphinx ring features a dramatic lapis cabochon set into a mounting that we cast and reproduced from an antique signet ring. The 14k gold mounting features a sphinx on either side of the stone.
