Large botanically dyed silk scarf This scarf has been hand dyed using a combination of plants, flowers, food waste and natural dye extracts to create a unique print on the silk This one of a kind scarf has been dyed using the method of bundle dyeing. Bundle dyeing is the process of placing dyestuffs directly on your chosen fabric then extracting their natural colours through heat and steam, resulting in their imprints being transferred on the silk. Natural dyeing is a timely and a somewhat spontaneous process. With every item we dye they each bear their own individual birth marks and characteristics resulting in a completely one off item for you to cherish and love. Square size 100% soft mid weight Habotai silk Size 90 x 90 cm Hand rolled hem Perfect use as a neck scarf, headband or head scarf or simply as a belt Hand wash gently with preferably a Ph neutral soap in cold water, line dry and iron on a low setting. Avoid spraying perfume directly on silk.
