The large bowl adze is very powerful, yet easy to control. Beginners and experienced carvers alike appreciate the the ability to use two hands for exceptional control. For larger b owls, wooden trays and windsor chair seats, this is the tool for the job. This adze is forged from solid 4150 alloy steel. It has a hand crafted hickory or ash handle, stained and finished with a penetrating oil/varnish mix. Handles are 12"-13" long. Blades are approximately 2 3/8" across.
