We work with artisans based in southeastern turkey to produce these tactile rugs handwoven from 100% mohair. The rugs are hand-spun on ancient wooden looms following an age-old pra ctice rarely seen in our modern age. The special fuzzy effect is obtained by feathering the surface of the fabric with delicate steel combs, requiring patience and meticulous eye-to-hand skills. This super soft edition uses bright yarns of baby pink and teal, against rich hues of black, navy and bordeaux for its bold striped pattern. Show more
