Inspired by a friend who wanted a bag to tote her computer to and from work - not a work bag, but a bag that worked for work - along with the ancillary things she carried in and out of the city and on the subway each day. We like to imagine trendsetter and fashion muse Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy would have appreciated the simple lines and sturdy structure of this re-imagined coastal classic tote, which reflects who she appeared in life: stylish but practical, serious but fun. We used our unlined pebble leather in saturated colors with colorful top stitching because it is light but sturdy, unfussy and yet full of personality.
