I saw Caroline's work on a stop off in the Lake district on my way up to Scotland this year. I bought a piece immediately as a gift but then thought I would love to show her work h ere at Baxters. The vintage feel of her work make them very covetable and who doesn't love a gorgeous spoon! Media: CeramicDimensions: Approx 12 x 4.5cm Artist Bio: Caroline Nash Caroline's work is designed to be fun and often functional, with a quirky style and vintage feel. She is a very keen gardener and has recently become a beekeeper which are currently informing and inspiring her current makes. She makes ranges of work for inside the home and outside in the garden, combining a range of materials, techniques and processes to create the pieces. She predominantly slip-cast with porcelains and hand-builds with Magma Crank. Underglaze printing, collaging, textured papers, her Grandma’s old buttons, decal transfers and her illustrations are lovingly combined to create her pieces.
