Handmade Spalted Maple Kitchen Turner/Spatula This handmade kitchen turner is built for everyday cooking with a strong, practical shape and the natural beauty of Spalted Maple. It is designed for turning, lifting, serving, and working around the pan while still feeling like a special handmade piece in your kitchen. The broad turning surface makes it useful for flipping vegetables, serving roasted foods, lifting baked goods, moving items in a skillet, and working with cast iron cookware. Its handmade wood construction gives it a warm, natural feel that pairs beautifully with vintage cast iron, stoneware, bakeware, and other heirloom kitchen tools. Spalted Maple is known for its beautiful, unique grain patterns and durable hardwood character. Each turner is handmade from responsibly sourced salvaged wood and finished with a food safe oil blend, making it a functional piece of art designed for regular kitchen use. This is not a mass produced kitchen accessory. Each turner is individually made by hand, so slight variations in grain, color, handle shape, edge profile, and dimension should be expected. Those small differences are part of what make each piece unique. You can smooth it by lightly sanding with high grit sandpaper such as 600 to 1000 grit, then reapplying oil after sanding. About Husted Home Husted Home creates functional art for everyday use. It is handmade functional art built for daily use. A Note About Handmade Products Because each Husted Home product is handmade from natural salvaged wood, no two pieces will be exactly alike. Wood grain, color, dimensions, finish tone, and small details may vary slightly from piece to piece. These natural variations are not defects. They are part of the character and beauty of handmade wooden kitchen tools. Please review all photos carefully before purchasing. We do our best to represent each item accurately, but color and tone may vary slightly based on lighting, photography, screen settings, and the natural grain of the wood.
