Hand-crafted by Green Walnut, this Waldorf-inspired rainbow stacker is a set of bold-coloured wooden arches that opens the door to genuinely free play for toddlers, older kids — and even adults. There is no right or wrong way to play with it: stack and nest the arches, or turn individual pieces into bridges, tunnels, seesaws, fences, houses, doll cradles or caves. Along the way, that freedom nurtures reasoning, spatial awareness, problem-solving, creativity, critical thinking and deep play, while stacking refines hand-eye coordination, motor skills and colour learning. The large rainbow measures L 35 cm x W 7 cm x H 16 cm. A few things to know: the arches are hollow, so they are not meant to bear body weight — please avoid sitting on the pieces or dropping them from a height, as they can break easily. The surface is intentionally left not fully polished, since a bit of friction is what keeps the arches stacked, and the non-toxic, water-based paint gives slightly less uniform colour, so small variations from piece to piece and from your screen are normal.
