These handmade pot holders are pretty enough to use on your dining table and completely functional for the kitchen and handling fresh from the oven dishes! Sometimes I add a hanging loop on the back (refer to photos to confirm) so that you can hang them as part of your decor too! I use leftover scraps of fabrics to create these patchwork potholders. Sizes vary somewhat depending on pattern used. They will fall in the 10-inch square range (about 25 cm). Photos show the mats with a small size saucepan for reference. Each mat is constructed with two inner layers, one is regular quilt batting and the other is a thermal batting called Insul Bright.
