[bio] Plant Bio Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ (PP30,035 Propagation Prohibited) has taken the houseplant world by storm! It’s no wonder why: This naturally occurring mutation of a regular ZZ plant features striking foliage. Our Plant Hunter first acquired it in early 2015, and we have been working on propagating this slow-growing beauty ever since. Raven was found in Asia (and patented by its discoverer, who has granted us exclusive rights to propagate it in North America), but the species is native to areas of Africa. Though you might not guess by looking at it, Raven® ZZ Zamioculcas ‘Dowon’ is in the aroid family (Araceae) and related to trendy plants like monstera, pothos, and philodendron.
